• Many traders, including myself, analyze the market on MT5 desktop with multiple charts open and set multiple alerts across different pairs.
• Currently, desktop alerts only send notifications to the mobile app while MT5 is actively running on the desktop; if the desktop application is closed or the computer goes to sleep, those alerts won’t trigger. Transferring alert settings directly to the mobile app ensures uninterrupted notifications even when the desktop is offline.
• For small retail traders who don’t have the financial muscle to use a VPS, having alerts pushed to mobile—especially when the desktop is closed—is a huge value add.
This could also be extended to cloud accounts or use the MQL5 community login to sync alerts across devices—similar to how profiles and templates work.
I believe this feature would be widely appreciated by active traders and further solidify MT5 as the top choice for multi-device trading.
