I am looking for up-to-date (2025 year) "Synthetic instrument formulas" to create MetaTrader 5 Custom Symbols for Currency Indexes.
I was able to find the Synthetic instrument formula for the U.S. Dollar Index as: "50.14348112*pow(ask(EURUSD),-0.576)*pow(USDJPY,0.136)*pow(ask(GBPUSD),-0.119)*pow(USDCAD,0.091)*pow(USDSEK,0.042)*pow(USDCHF,0.036)". This formula properly matches other real-time quotes sources, such as from Yahoo Finance "https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/DX-Y.NYB/".
However, I am having a hard time finding correct formulas for the remaining major currency indexes. I was able to find a few different formulas for the EUR Index, although they did NOT match up-to-date real-time quotes.
What are the MetaTrader 5 Synthetic instrument formulas for the remaining major currency indexes? Where are references to find these derived calculation formulas?
Here is a table of currency indexes that I would like to add as MetaTrader 5 Custom Symbols. Included are the symbols for real time quote sources to verify correct formula values.
