MT4.0 (buil201) + Amibroker 4.80.2 + DDE

Hi all,

I'm trying to make Amibroker work with MT4 through DDE and so far no luck.




If someone has managed to make it work could you please tell me how you did it ?

I am looking too- my sample excel spreadsheet works great- you can find it in C:\Program Files\StrategyBuilderFX 4\ dde-sample.xls

but like you I cannot get the dde to work in amibroker- I have tried to use the same formating as excel=

=MT4|'BID'!EURUSD
=MT4|'ASK'!EURUSD
=MT4|'HIGH'!EURUSD
=MT4|'LOW'!EURUSD
=MT4|'TIME'!EURUSD

but no go.
 
this is what you do;

just ad this to the bid ask high low time ones

{Field}!{Ticker}

and the server is MT4

and you should get a green light on the bottom right of amibroker. also keep in mind that it only brings in data start from when you hooked this up.
