How come I can't take partial profits automatically??

EVERY platform in the world supports this.
I have to manually go in and close out part of my order?? C'mon!!
What's the answer to this?
 
If You do not wish to close positions manually part by part then You can write your own EA for automatical partially closing

I realize this is a very old post, but have you a better response than write an EA. Is there a generic EA already available? Thanks for your help..

 
Place(manually) pending order with needed to close volume in opposite direction and then close partially at any moment.
 

Another way, if you know beforehand what proportion/volume you want to partially close, is to open the position with multiple orders, then close them one at a time. For example, if you want 1 lot and want to close half to make break-even, then you open 2 orders each of 0.5 lots, so you can close them separately.
