MT4 Email Alert Security Hole(s)?

In order to get email alerts to work properly on MT4 with my ISP, I have to fill in my SMTP server, login and password in the Tools>Options>Email form.

If I open the email.ini file in the config directory with my text editor, I can read all this data. Perhaps this file should be encrypted so that someone else using my PC cannot get my email password.

Also, perhaps the outbound message should somehow be encrypted so my email password is not floating about on the Internet. I am not a network security wizard so I don't know exactly how all this works but it does seem to me to be somewhat inadequate.

Any comments would be appreciated.
