when running optimisation not all cores are working properly

Hi, i have been developing an EA and run optimisations many times. For some reason i am trying to run a complete optimisation but not all the available cores are working properly. out of the 16 cores on my laptop there will be a couple that stop completing tasks. i also have 2 VPS servers with 32 cores each and i have the same issue there. I used to be able to complete an optimisation within 8 hours but now it will just not complete at all after a few days. I have already made sure all advanced boot options in system config are correct and all cores are allocated. This has worked fine in the past but for no reason is now not working. I have even tried a full uninstall and clear of all files and re-install MT5 but this has still not made a difference. Please can someone advise. Many thanks.
