Can MQL programmers be considered as programmers? - page 3

Алексей Тарабанов:

It's a coder.

This is when you know how to solve the problem, but when you need to create new mechanics (for some people, maybe not new) and the end result is unknown - it may or may not work if you run into some software limitation that you don't know about, and the crutch to bypass it will be insane in size and will work in sporadic fashion

Vitaly Muzichenko:

There is no such word, it's jargon.

Yes, jargon, but there is a word. Slang:)

A lot of performers demand detailed TOR, instead of demanding money for its development.

By the way, they are demanding money anyway, although they are not doing a better job. imho

Evgeny Belyaev:

That's not a word.

Judging by your profile, you'rea problem solver.

Yeah, that's my profession. In management of anything. If it's a mess.

Алексей Тарабанов:

Yes, jargon, but the word is there. Slang:)

A lot of performers demand detailed terms of reference, instead of demanding money for developing them.

Money, by the way, is being demanded all the same, although the work is not better.

This is so that it does not turn out like "Ravshan and Jamshud", we will still have to redo it as it should be. That is why they demand a full and detailed ToR. And by the way, it is easier to work with the ToR than to invent at your own discretion.

Vitaly Muzichenko:

This is so that it doesn't turn out like "Ravshan and Jamshud", but still has to be redone as it should be. That's what a full and detailed ToR is for. And by the way, it is easier to work with the ToR than to invent at your own discretion.

It is clear to the horse, as Tatyana said.

People MQL5 is almost C++. And a hardcore programmer should know C++. So you are programmers. Especially if you are proficient in OOP. ) This is irony, but there is some truth in it.

In addition to hard programmers, there are also you programmers. It looks like this: You're a programmer, install Windows. You programmers, unlike hard programmers, do not get paid. )

You don't have to know any programming languages at all to be a programmer. And don't think of software as something purely digital... For example fast food restaurants, you go in there and you see people working together... someone is cooking, someone is taking orders... someone is cleaning the floor... someone is guarding... How's that for a program? To build a skyscraper, you have to coordinate the work of thousands of people, suppliers of materials, technology, solutions, etc... the same goes for a programme... A programmer is basically someone who knows how to do the job by automating the work...

They must be a special kind of programmer, the prupprogrammers. )

And then there are the neurolinguistic programmers. Scary people. ) But since they don't understand what they are programming themselves, you don't have to fear them. )
