EA working fine on live account but cannot get any results in MT4 tester.
38000661: Hi All, I have an EA that is working well on a live account so I decided I would try to optimise it for potentially better results. Unfortunately when I try to even backtest (optimise button not clicked) I get no results at all. I note that this EA came only with an exe file and no mq4 file. Could this be the problem?
The author probably blocked the EA from being back-tested, but it might also be due to a Max Spread parameter or something of the sort.
As for the lack of MQL Source code, it also means that you will not be able to change or fix it if needed.
