Purchased fee-based indicator can be activated at lease 5 times on different computers, we all know.
But under what circumstances will it consume activation times?
1. Installed -> Portable: make a installed MT5 to portable version, but run on the same computer and OS.
2. Same hardware, new OS: windows crashed, hdd formated and windows installed. A backup of a portable version MT5 (from senario 1) run on the same computer.
3. New HDD, same OS: HDD crashed, a 1:1 copied HDD installed. (a 1:1 clone copy/backup of the HDD and OS, with for example ghost/Acronis/Acronis)
4. New HDD, new OS: HDD crashed, windows newly installed, A backup of a portable version MT5 (from senario 1) run on the same computer.
5. New CPU: CPU crashed and replaced.
In general: supposed you purchased a EA, which costs 50000USD, how reliable must be your system？ What kind of software/hardware change will cause MT5 determin the EA is now running on a different computer, though only part of the computer is changed.
