Hello,
Logs have never really bothered me as I've always had plenty of HDD space, however, an account which I have been running for about a year, has been getting slower and slower. Where at a point, an equity closing EA didn't do its job once the account took a huge dip and nearly got blown out completely (it was a demo, but nonetheless). After clearing out the logs, it seems to have gotten quite responsive again. This incident has lead me to be very curious about the following:
Since the amount of logs, seemingly affects a terminal's responsiveness. Is there perhaps some tool that automatically clears them out, preferably scheduled?
At the moment I'm thinking of doing a once a month search of the entire drive, for a file of the type .log, and just deleting them all (doing it one by one wouldn't be feasible for me, since I have many MT4 installations).
Kind regards
