How to create virtual server that only provides historical data?
rbigdelis: Is it possible to create/design a virtual server that only provides historical data for my custom symbols but not any real trades?
MetaTrader v5 Custom Symbols are already "virtual" and you cannot run real trades on them, only via the Strategy Tester.
So, it is irrelevant where the data used to build the Custom Symbols comes from, be that a Virtual Server or not. That is totally up to you!
