Ok, so we all know the Sidus system, or other EMA cross/rsi systems. There always seems to be discussions about repainting, and the code I've looked at always seems to try and look forward.
This does not need to be the case: we can cure this.
I would love an indicator coded. that does the following at the open of a bar:
1) If close of previous bar is crossed below both EMA's (or it crossed through them in the last few (definable?) bars)
AND
2) If the RSI of that Bar is below 50
Place a down arrow on the previous bar and possibly sound an alarm. Opposite for an up arrow.
Ideally it would only do this once when the conditions are first met, and not every bar that meets these requirements.
Does that make sense? Is there limitation of MQL that I'm not aware of that would prohibit this?
Would somebody be willing to knock this up for us? Applied a particular way, it should be quite effective. I'll share more when I know there is interest and a more reliable indicator is on the way.
thanks in advance!
