Momentum MA Angle

i use the momentum indicator in my strategies, i apply a SMA to generate signals when momentum s increasing or decreasing. but sometimes the signals i get are really late because a use a longer MA period to normalize momentum behavior. so i have been trying to devise a way to smooth out the movement of the momentum indicator so i can get signals a bit faster.

what i have in mind is a histogram of the angle of an applied MA. i have seen several oscillators displaying the angle of an MA placed on the chart so i hope this wont be too daunting of a task.

Features requested:

a setting that allows adjustment for MA type

an alarm when the histogram crosses the 0 line at the close of a bar

if a programmer could take a swing at this for me that would help me alot
