This is a proprietary unidirectional momentum/trend - following swing (150 min time frame) trading system across 11 currency pairs with a technical analysis bias. The trading system is professionally managed and does not use an Expert Advisor for signal identification.
Trades are filtered for confluence with the Daily trend. Patience is key. Stops are always used for all trades and will vary with each instance between 60 and 300 pips. Trades will exit against the initial stop loss placement or a trailing stop or if the trade is covered if sentiment has changed.
Signal Platform and Stop Loss Placement:
Signals execute from a STP platform with stops placed at entry, mitigating psychological stop avoidance and hibernating stop placing software latency. A trailing stop enables capital protection as the trend progresses
Hardware failure mitigation and execution:
The platform trades off a server with 99.9% uptime guaranteed in a secure, redundant datacentre on a high-speed network
Position sizing:
For the signal trading account which is a standard (100k) account, volume of 0.02 lot = 2000, 0.03 lot = 3000, 0.10 lot = 10k, 1.0 lot = 100k etc
As a guide for equity of $1000 USD on a mini account, use 0.1 lot/trade, for equity of $10000 USD (mini), use 1 lot/trade. For equity of $100000 USD on a standard (100k) account, use 1 lot/trade.
Please make adjustments dependent upon your own experience, risk appetite, account type and margin parameters using a demo account initially if needed.
