Does anyone know if you can tell which way the news will move price by the price pattern before the news bar?

You might try this site: http://www.understandmarket.com/index.php?categoryid=86. Thay provide a good database of market's reactions for news releases

 

I had one time found a site that lists all the calendar events [can't recall where - lost the link], and if you click on it, it will tell you the consensus, pair to trade along with target PIPs.... Anyone know of such site? It was free also...

I've gone to this site before but you can't view any of the documents for some reason...it lists them and supposedly they are in pdf format but there is no link to see them...if anyone is able to see one of the reports they list, let me know...post it here or pm me with it please.

 

i can see them fine, make sure you have latest version of adobe reader
