EA functions while Auto Trading button on MT4 is turned off ?
Moving stop losses and closing orders is still trading, so all trading activities are disabled.
You will have to code the EA to specifically disable opening new trades.

i need help to understand working of EA while Auto Trading button on MT4 is in OFF status
EA has three functions; one entry point strategy, move SL to break even and Exit trade at given profit/loss levels.
In case trader intends to turn Auto Trading button OFF to avoid opening of excess trades going beyond equity levels. Would rest parts of EA keep running and analyzing trades and move stop loss to break even and exit at appropriate levels.
If YES, then OK; If NO; can someone advise how to stop opening of excess trades.
