I just setup MT4 on another machine. After downloading historical data from MetaQuotes for GBP/USD, I then tried to test my EA in StrategyTester, but nothing happens. The screen is stuck on 'waiting for update'

Did you download M1 data ? did you check a M1 chart for the date you are trying to run in the Strategy Tester to make sure you actually have data ? did you make or download the data for the timeframe you are trying to test in ?

Did you download M1 data, and run it through the period converter to create all other timeframes or use Period_Converter_ALL_Rev01.
