EA causes metatrader to crash.
What Build of MT4 are you running and what Build are you using to compile ?
Build 419 of MetaEditor and build 409 of MT4. I perhaps should have mentioned that there does seem to be a problem with Live Update - MT4 keeps wanting to run it and perhaps it's not working properly.
Compile in 409 and run on 419 . . . if you must, but don't do it the other way around. If you want to run on 409 you should compile in 409 or earlier.
Thanks, I've managed to succesfully download MT4 219 now and it seems to be OK again. If it happens again I'll know what to look at.

My EA has started causing the platform to crash. I don't think I've made any susbstantial changes to it, but suddenly it does it every time. I also get message under the Experts tab of the platform that the EA file is corrupted. However it compiles without any problems. Any ideas as to what this might be about?
