Hello, ive been studying the MQL4 tutorial and now at a level that i can start to experiement with changing code to learn on a active simple EA. Ive tried running the EA tradingexpert.mq4 on the book tutorial, on my demo with various currency pairs but i can not get the EA to execute orders. It reports error (sell =-1) which i believe is a false error report which exits the Start() in the program. Wondered if anyone had the same problem or if maybe someone could look at it with an experienced pair of eyes. I looking to experiement with a simple EA with i can practise changing code i.e indicators etc to progress my learning, thought this may be good one to use as it also has a helpful forum.
