OK this is probable a simple question.
I have written a EA to open and trade and set the take profit and stop loss, I know very basic but I want to develop it a bit further.
I want the script to be able act as a hedge. If the trade continues in a winning direction the EA monitors and does nothing, if it reverses by a pre set number of pips, then the EA opens a hedge trade of the same size. If the trade reverses again then the EA closes the hedge when the closing price is equal to the price at which it was opened.
I have had a look at a number of hedging scripts and they all seem to use different currency pairs. I would like this to work on the same currency pair.
My aim to finish the day with either a profit or a worst break even.
Is anyone able to point me in the direction of a script that dose what I am looking for.
