As long as the file is in proper *.hst format and located in the proper folder, the Tester will use it. Either there was a problem with the file or u didn't put it in the correct folder. BTW - u should restart the Terminal after replacing the original file...
So, is it possible to run Backtest on a chart created by me?

Hi Programmers!
I created a new chart (*.hst file) with the method of the Period Converter built in MT script.
I can use it like an Offline Chart - it's Ok. But how can I run the Backtest on it?
I still have tried some way. For example I deleted the original EURUSD1.hst file from the history, then I renamed My Chart to it.
All time I got the same error message:
invalid file for 'EURUSD1'
no data for testing'
So, is it possible to run Backtest on a chart created by me?
