On the website of the Automated Trading Championship 2008, an article Reporting the Fifth Week (27 October - 2 November) has been published. The fifth week closed the first month of the Championship and opened the path to the next one. This week released a little tension of forex markets - almost all currency pairs went through a temporary correction of trends that has been dominating in the market since the Championship start. Despite the 50% correction on most currency pairs, the majority of Participants not only avoided losses, but managed to increase their trading accounts. The top ten has not undergone sufficient changes. The total Equity of this participants has increased by 15 % as compared to the previous week results and is now equal to $803,179. And the first place is still occupied by Gorez with the Equity of more than $120,000.
