Indicator Reliability

 
This is the construct of a simple indicator:

     int limit;
int counted_bars=IndicatorCounted();

if(counted_bars>0) counted_bars--;
limit=Bars-counted_bars;

ExtBlueBuffer[i]=iMA(NULL,0,JawsPeriod,0,MODE_SMMA,PRICE_MEDIAN,i);

Since there could be some recalculations going on, how reliable is it to use values generated by an indicator using this looping construct, knowing that there may be some recalculations?
