Computational Systems, Inc. May 2000 to May 2009
Software Engineer
Maintained and developed existing software applications
Developed new software applications
Repair of customer databases
Assisted Product Support and our Training department with customer and software issues
Examples of accomplishments (.NET related)
Supported a web-based discrepancy tracking application that was created using ASP.NET and AJAX.
The application was originally created by a co-op student and needed a great deal of work.
Added functionality to track a discrepancy through each stage of its lifecycle from its creation to final resolution and release to the end user.
Added functionality to automatically email the proper parties at each stage of a discrepancy’s lifecycle.
The backend was a SQL database which I not only interacted with using ADO, NET but also was the administrator of.
Managed the database using SQL Server Management Studio Express 2005.
Added functionality to the discrepancy tracker to ensure that each user was assigned the proper permissions and roles.
Used C# and JavaScript as code behind in the discrepancy tracker to make the application look, feel and perform as though it were a Windows application rather than a web application.
Created a specialized C#/ADO.NET application that allowed our translators to successfully do translations for various databases for incremental changes of the software between major releases. This included an HTML based Help system.
Developed the initial framework for a C#/XML based user Preferences system.
Developed the initial framework for a C#/XML/HTML help system.
The Help system was designed such that it delivered help information to users and allowed our in-house Tech writers to generate the HTML for the Help system.
The framework used Reflection to determine if the person using it was in-house or an end user.

VC++ 6.0/MFC related
Created a utility that allowed me to generate reports by pulling information from Access databases and populate an Excel spreadsheet with the necessary information.
This also provided me with a powerful tool that I could use to examine databases for problems and repair anything that was founds.
Heavily modified user interfaces in many existing applications
Added much needed functionality to an existing database creation application
Implemented data transfer functionality between hand-held meters and customer databases
Fixed problems and added functionality in a database utility application that allowed customers to accurately copy information between databases or duplicate databases Without these additions, the copy and duplication functionality did not work correctly and could have had dire consequences for the customer
Added functionality to two different software applications to support new data acquisition hardware that had been developed

Hey, Friends. I have a marketing question that I'd like to run by you. Apparently, the affiliate program is dead and doesn't look like it's coming back but the "widget business" still seems to be alive. I've been considering it but I have some reservations. I'm concerned about MQ's administration of it for one thing. For another, I'm not sure about its viability. It seems to me that there may be so much involved for a non-MQL community member to go through just to buy a product, that they won't be willing to mess with it.

To be specific, they will have to click on your widget if they're interested and then be taken to the product listing here. In order to purchase, they will have to join the MQL5 community if they aren't already members(which I doubt they will be), learn how the buying process works, fund their account with the necessary funds to buy the product and then go through the steps to purchase it. I just don't see anyone going through all that.

If any of you Folks have worked with this, I would very much appreciate any thoughts and insights you could share. I'm not really sure that it's worth messing with.

Thanks in advance for any insights anyone can share.

Profit to all of us! :-)

The WWCS Trade Information Indicator is designed to assist you with money management and provide you with important information about a currency pair both before taking a trade and after your trade is in progress. The trade information (such as recommended lot size for a desired percentage of your account equity, the amount of money at risk, etc.) takes quite a bit of time and knowledge to calculate and, because of the speed at which prices change, is out of date as soon as you've calculated it
