Hi, I'm Mahdi — MQL5 & MQL4 developer focused on Expert Advisors and custom indicators for MetaTrader 4 & 5.
Most of my work is on Gold (XAUUSD). That's not a coincidence — Gold breaks systems that run fine on other symbols. Wider spreads, faster moves, and slippage that turns a profitable backtest into a losing live account. Building for Gold means building for the worst case, and that's what I do by default.
What makes me different from a standard EA coder is where I come from:
- C++ and Python background, not just MQL syntax
- Python-MT5 hybrid systems — TensorFlow models connected to MetaTrader 5 through custom bridges for live execution
- Computer Engineering student at the Lebanese University
So you're not hiring someone who copies indicator formulas. You're working with someone who understands architecture, execution, and why systems fail in live markets.

I published a study I'd been working on: a blind audit of four live
trading track records — and of the tool used to audit them.
Four public signal records, ~3,400 trades. Nine predictions registered
in version control before the battery ran; four of them were wrong.
Seven defects found in the audit instrument itself, six of which
flattered the subjects — those are reported alongside the findings.
The subjects are anonymised and the figures deliberately rounded. It is
a sample of four and says nothing about the market.
Some of what it covers: why a peak drawdown on a statement can be 30x
smaller than the one actually run, what a deposit arriving at the bottom
of a drawdown means, and why "not supported" is not the same statement
as "does not work".
