I'm a software developer with a background in programming, and over the pastfew years I've applied that engineering discipline to algorithmic tradingsystem design. My focus is building trading systems the way I'd build anypiece of production software: modular architecture, layered safety checks,and rigorous testing before anything goes live — not just strategies thatbacktest well, but systems engineered to fail safely when real marketconditions inevitably diverge from historical data.
Aurum Aegis reflects that approach. It's built as five independent breakoutmodules running in parallel, each with its own execution logic, wrapped in ashared risk-management layer — breakeven management, staged profit locking,fake-breakout protection, portfolio heat scaling, and hard exposure caps — sono single module or single losing streak can dominate the account. Everytrade-management function respects broker-level constraints (freeze levels,margin requirements, session availability) rather than assuming idealconditions, which is the kind of detail that's easy to skip and expensive toget wrong.
I built this system to be genuinely long-term and risk-aware rather thanoptimized to look impressive on a single backtest curve, and I'd rather beupfront about that trade-off than oversell it.
