No, i have to close Ghost Protocol Gold because with a 500 euro was too easy have low free margin. And meanwhile i'm working on a "Mini Ghost Protocol", always hybrid, but to work on small Time Frame, as 1 minute. Are only 3 days but i like it becuase the difference (with gold) is that normally have 100 euro of DD when all 4 positions are opened with ghost, instead whit MINI ghost only 10! First week for the new signal with the most hated/loved pair of Forex: gold. The strategy is the same applied on the pairs present on Chimera and Net Scalp Fx, but gold needed a dedicated account. The first operation is the only one "out of chorus" but it's for an experiment inside the strategy.

The graph with DD and balance of Chimera show the difficulties of season summer to understand how change the trading. Another big DD level in september for the oldest positions of USDCHF that now are only history. From this week the kind of trading is mixed with the new "ghost protocol" and pure manual operations. Target of Chimera for the future is to left that high level of DD an isolated case and keep the yield on reasonable percent. Never take more risk than necessary (and distributed).

Today account "Chimera" and "Net Fx Scalp" will be reset to the balance of 1.000 EUR / USD. The DD is low so no one effect for the copier. I remember that 1.000 EUR or USD (Chimera is in USD, Net FX in EUR) is the normal balance to consider for the copy.

Back to the graph, today some hours to check better what happened in these days, about markets and about my EA online. A bit of luck with dollar and my situation on the manual operative accounts changed (finally) DD decreased, a good start of yield in october and positive test for the new EA give me back the smile. Were months that it was frustrating stay here... but never stop, only big work to understand HOW contrast the market. A market that requires a lot of energy, aggressive manual trading and very light and adaptable analysis. While I was writing I closed EURCAD short, let's try to see usdchf if it creates a real concrete reversal and above all if EURUSD and GBPUSD return to average levels on average TFs that allow us to close all the previous. Nice deceptive day. Once again the data release had the random effect, in the morning the data against EUR pushed the dollar hard, which instead was still affected by the afternoon data. In short, here it seems that the dollar does it wrong, and along with it a multitude of traders are on the wrong side of the operations. Now it is no longer trading, it is a race of resistance. Oh, and gold which has returned to being the most loved safe haven in the world does not stop marking new historical highs...

It's not the first time that I've seen a movement like this on a Monday morning. I still remember a similar scene shortly after 08. This time it started a little later, and if I said it was predictable I'd be lying. But yes, after a week of a bit of alignment, also considering the non-reaction on Sunday night, it was there. And almost 3% profit in 2 hours are good things. Too bad that then, as it came, it went, and I who am still exposed with deltas of even 2% of price, am patiently waiting for the real return to lower prices. In addition, the pairs have started to move independently of the dollar, just look at GBP. Volumes with "holes" and still low, as usual on a fairly weak Monday. The dollar for me, is waiting for its opportunity, after having suffered violence since July, awaiting redemption in a market that wanted to anticipate the times and now finds itself figuring out which direction to take or rather, having to correct an artificial extension.

Another technical / constructive comment: I talked about EA development, but I didn't say that at the moment I have abandoned all the old models, not because they were old and obsolete, but because the market is not that. So was it enough to fix them with a few optimizations? NO, NO and NO. It's not about changing a parameter that makes the grid wider for example, but it's about understanding that the grid is no longer the necessary tool to manage a recovery. Wait! I don't want to create generalized terrorism, but try to grasp the essence. There are thousands of combinations and it's not that they have stopped working, but for many, something more than a simple optimization might be necessary.

I remain stunned as the market continues to be influenced by this news. I hoped, I prayed that this psychological suggestion about what the rates will be, in turn, a consequence of other data that will have to be released, would have ended. But the market reacts to everything today, as it has been doing in a crazy way since July now. And here every time the natural ascending and descending curve (or vice versa) becomes yet another one-way sprint that burns stops and accounts. It is difficult to carry out an analysis with a market like this that does not care about graphic elements and the only points of interest are SEVERAL percentage points away and therefore in practice not very usable in a leveraged market. The only positive note for me is that the new experimental hedge systems called "Triangle" and "Rescue zone" that allow me to bypass wrong entries are proving valid and perhaps at the moment, for my type of trading.
