Compound exponentially and "go for it" or make periodic withdrawals? So if I deposited €164K in September '22, add back in the €65K withdrawals the balance would be €267K had I made no withdrawals right? Wrong! Due to compounding the balance would be closer to €300K. Still, we don't know the future do we? Withdrawals are a personal thing.

Yea. One of them literally but a 😢 emoji on my Telegram page because last night’s AUDNZD profit didn’t hit the TP and went back to breakeven. He’s up 15% in May and 17% so far in June. 🤷♂️

The “new school” trades are now taking place in Blackwave California however each new position will risk 2% instead of the 5% risked in Blackwave Algarve.

Hi Gary, hope you are doing well. What happened to the weekly updates? Also what is your lesson learned from your Blackwave Pacific signal account busting? Because it looks like you are willing to take very high risks with 40%+ drawdowns again on all your new signals. Do you have a hard stop this time or could history repeat itself with Algavre and Monaco?

Weekly updates didn’t seem to make any difference, I did them for years for Blackwave Pacific. Not surprisingly people don’t care if I explain myself or just read my shopping list to them. They want to make money ideally they want to make it quickly and the relationship with mql5 subscribers is very transactional. They are not like managed clients. Algarve would have lower DD’s if I hadn’t made large withdrawals. Over €40K so far. In forex anything can happen so if you don’t want to take a risk please don’t.

Also Blackwave California didn’t blow. It’s seven years old. Nobody remembers or cares unfortunately because it’s low risk and low return…like 15-20% per year which beats the equity markets. Mql5 guys want low risk like at the post office but high returns like bitcoin a few years ago 😀

$EURCAD lower prices were rejected in the end higher #ECB rates didn't help the euro. Unfortunately lower oil prices are holding this trade back however it is 20% hedged and I will use profits on those hedges to reduce the exposure in the underlying basket.

The hedging of $EURCAD has brought over 140 pips today alone and position sizes on those hedges now rise to a full position size. I added a final sell entry at 1.4707 however for safety 10% of this position is now hedged.

$USDCHF is ~ 30 pips away from TP. It's been a pleasant trade bouncing between 0.9360-94.25 and taking profit each time. $EURCAD is painfully slow but with positive SWAPS worth about 2% of the value of the account the patience is easier. #skininthegame http://blackwave-forextrader.com

Nice to finish the week off on a win. 4.5% for February to date. I don’t exclusively trade pairs with positive swaps, just when the trade looks good. The $CADJPY positions closed had 6 times the commission in accumulated positive swaps. Blackwave-forextrader.com #skininthegame

Off the mark with 3.95% for February and a nice $USDJPY profit. $EURCAD began well this morning but it’s drifting a little higher this evening. Still DD is well within risk parameters and the positive SWAPS here are worth about 1.5%. Blackwave-forextrader.com #skininthegame

That’s a massive drop in $EURCAD. A break of 1.4234 seems unlikely today but that would be a useful break of weekly support. In the meantime the #boj news didn’t hurt our positions for long. Back above 131. Back at the desk on Monday.
