Well guess what on USDCHF my EA on different timeframes was long 2 and short 5 . I thought I should have a look at this the EA is going crazy, then forgot about it . Wow it did so well...

Hints on optimizing A Black Box An EA made by a trader not a programmer.
Optimizing can take a long time. To make it easier first
1) use only 4 variables and fix a base with the others ie in my EA use bands: 20 and multiple :2
2) use control points optimizing, then open only optimizing then every tick optimizing narrowing the range each time
A full optimization can take days but is very much worth it. Don t forget seasonality and mood has an influence on prices so use your time period wisely .
Another fast way to optimize is one variable at a time to get a rough idea using common sense.

One very easy way to optimize the EA. Take Profits! Let the EA choose the buy or sell points and use mobile technology and virtual servers to take those profits. The ea always finds another entry. A lot of micro profits adds up!

Current optimization has not changed and can still double a $500 account in 11 month ( 1 h chart) without intervention on what has been a difficult year for EURUSD
