Why we built Braintech
Most traders who find an Expert Advisor they like eventually hit the same wall.
The strategy works in testing. It shows reasonable results live for a period. Then performance degrades, drawdowns widen, and confidence erodes. The instinct is to replace it with something better.
We've watched this cycle repeat for years. And we stopped believing the problem was the strategy.
The real problem is structural.
A standalone Expert Advisor running on a single chart has no awareness of the broader trading environment. It doesn't know what other EAs are doing on the same account. It doesn't share a risk framework with them. It can't see combined portfolio exposure, correlated positions, or aggregate drawdown in real time.
This is the infrastructure gap. It doesn't appear in backtests. It appears in live trading, usually at the worst possible moment.
Brain Gold is the first strategy we publish here on MQL5.
It is a structured approach to XAUUSD trading - built around disciplined execution and defined risk parameters.
