Ciao, mi chiamo Michael P. Burney e sono un trader professionista, coach di trading e sviluppatore di Expert Advisor (EA), specializzato in sistemi di trading algoritmico ad alte prestazioni. Ho maturato la mia esperienza nei mercati dei metalli attraverso anni di operatività reale, affrontando perdite, drawdown e lezioni difficili che hanno infine plasmato l’approccio disciplinato con cui oggi opero e insegno.
Il mio percorso non è stato un successo immediato. Dopo lunghi periodi di drawdown e frustrazione, si è verificato un punto di svolta nel mio trading che ha cambiato completamente la mia traiettoria. Questa svolta mi ha permesso di affinare le strategie, sistematizzare il mio vantaggio e costruire una struttura ripetibile per prestazioni costanti. Da lì ho ampliato il mio lavoro nel trading automatizzato e ho costruito un’attività basata sulla condivisione di questo percorso con altri trader.
Come padre di cinque figli pieni di energia, la mia vita è un equilibrio tra responsabilità, caos e obiettivi. I miei figli sono la mia più grande motivazione e il motivo per cui mi impegno a creare sistemi che generino libertà — sia per la mia famiglia sia per i trader che ripongono fiducia nel mio lavoro. Overview This update focuses on improving user control over trading hours. We have moved the session time settings from the internal code to the user input panel and simplified the configuration process.
Key Changes:
New Session Settings Group: A dedicated "Session Settings" section has been added to the expert inputs. You no longer need to edit the code to change trading hours.
Simplified Time Input (Hours): Session start and end times are now entered in Hours (0–24) instead of seconds.
Example: To trade from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, simply input 8 and 17.
Granular Daily Control: You can now set distinct operating windows for:
Sunday (with an optional "Ignore Sunday" toggle).
Monday – Thursday (Standard trading days).
Friday (End of week).
Force Close Options: Added toggle switches to automatically close open positions at the end of a session (Close_At_Session) or specifically at the Friday close (Close_At_Fri_Close).
