Kingfisher - gold breakout EA on a real balance
This signal runs the Kingfisher Expert Advisor on XAUUSD, M15, unchanged, on a real-money account with the settings any buyer gets by default.
HOW IT TRADES
Five hunters run side by side: four watch the nearest unbroken swing high and low on the four-hour chart, one on the one-hour chart. Each rests a buy stop just inside the high and a sell stop just inside the low, so it is filled the moment the level gives way.
- Every position opens with a fixed stop loss and take profit already attached.
- Each hunter holds at most one position. Every order is the minimum 0.01 lot, sized on my own deposit, not on the credit.
- No grid, no martingale, no averaging down, no position without a stop loss.
- Exits: a fast break rides to its target; a slow one is protected once it is ahead and closed if it gives back half of its best profit. On unusually volatile days the one-hour hunter lets its winners run.
- It stands aside when gold is too quiet for its stop, and removes pending orders before the weekend. Quiet days with few or no trades are normal.
WHY THE GROWTH PERCENTAGE IS SMALL - ON PURPOSE
Many signals start from a tiny balance: two trades making 5 EUR on a 50 EUR account show as +10 %, and the growth chart looks spectacular.
This account is funded like a real one. The 1,500 EUR shown as the starting balance is 600 EUR of my own deposit plus 900 EUR of broker credit that adds margin. Growth is measured against the full 1,500, so those same 5 EUR show as about 0.3 %.
The percentage will rise slowly. That is the point: what you see is what the strategy earns at the smallest lot size, on a balance you could realistically trade, with every loss visible.
WHAT TO LOOK AT
The profit and drawdown in money, and the trade history, say more here than the growth percentage. A new signal has few trades; judge it once it has a few months behind it.
