The signal runs two independent, fully automated systems on gold (XAUUSD) — one trend-following, one session-breakout — combined on a single account to trade different phases of the gold market without overlapping logic.
Engine 1 — H1 Trend Follower (Dual MA Cross)
- What it does: Trades the H1 timeframe using a moving-average crossover signal. When the fast/slow MA cross produces a directional arrow, the EA places a pending Buy Stop just above the signal bar's high.
- Entry logic: Pending orders are only held for one bar (1 hour) — if price doesn't confirm the breakout within that hour, the order is cancelled. This filters out weak or fading momentum before it ever becomes a live position.
- Trade management: Stop Loss, Take Profit, and a Trailing Stop are all set as a percentage of price, so the system automatically adapts its risk distance to gold's current volatility rather than using a fixed point value.
- Position rule: Only one position open at a time — no averaging in, no stacking.
- Character: Low trade frequency, longer holding periods, designed to catch sustained directional moves in gold rather than intraday noise.
Engine 2 — London Session Range Breakout
- What it does: Measures the Asian-session consolidation range on XAUUSD and places pending stop as London liquidity arrives.
- Entry logic: Range is calculated over a fixed overnight window; orders are cancelled if not filled by a set cut-off, and open positions are force-closed at a defined end-of-day time — the strategy does not carry gold risk overnight.
- Risk & trade filters: Position size is risk-% based (a fixed percentage of account balance is risked per trade, not a fixed lot), with a break-even step, volatility-adjusted trailing stop, a "weakness" exit filter to cut trades early when momentum stalls, and a cap on the number of trades per session to prevent over-trading during choppy ranges.
- Character: Higher trade frequency, intraday holding periods, designed to capture the volatility release when the Asian range breaks at the start of the London session.
Why combine them
The two systems are deliberately uncorrelated in timing and logic — one is a slow H1 trend filter, the other is a fast session-breakout system — so they tend to be active in different market conditions rather than doubling up on the same risk at the same time. Both trade gold exclusively, so subscribers get concentrated XAUUSD exposure through two structurally different approaches instead of one single strategy's blind spots.
Who this is for
Suitable for subscribers comfortable with gold-only exposure and the drawdown profile of a breakout strategy trading in an elevated-volatility regime. Not suitable for accounts that need low, steady drawdown or that already carry concentrated gold exposure elsewhere. Use appropriate risk settings and never risk capital you can't afford to lose — past performance does not guarantee future results.
