XAUUSD Technical Outlook (H4) – Past Week Review & New Week Strategy by MH Invest Hello traders, looking at the current H4 chart structure for Gold, the MH Invest team would like to share our practical market insights—purely based on human experience and chart reading, no rigid formulas, no AI clichés—to help you navigate the upcoming week. 1. Market Review: The Bears Are Still in Full Control Sustained Bearish Structure: Overall, Gold remains locked in a clear downtrend on the H4 timeframe, printing lower highs and lower lows. The long-term red EMA acts as a solid brick wall, crushing any recovery attempts from the Bulls. Heavy Pressure on the Bottom: Throughout the past week, price repeatedly tested the support zone around $3930 - $3940. Despite some minor rejection wicks bouncing up, the upside momentum remains incredibly weak. Price couldn't even break above the short-term EMAs (yellow and green lines) and closed the week hovering right near the $4017 level. Weak Momentum: The AO indicator remains buried below the zero line and the RSI is flattening out in the lower territory (around 46). This shows that selling pressure is still simmering under the surface, and buyers haven't shown any real interest in returning yet. 2. Outlook & Strategy for the New Week: Patience is Key True to our core philosophy of "Peace in Trading – Slow but Steady," MH Invest will prioritize strict risk management and closely watch how price reacts at this critical juncture: Scenario 1 (Preferred): If price cleanly breaks below the previous support at $3930 - $3940, the downtrend will intensify. If this happens, we will absolutely NOT catch a falling knife. Instead, we will wait for technical pullbacks to key resistance levels above to look for high-probability Sell setups aligned with the trend. Scenario 2 (Wait and See): For a long-term Buy setup to trigger, Gold must form a clear reversal structure on H4 by breaking above the recent lower high and climbing over the long-term red EMA.
