Here's a brief explanation:
1. Fibonacci Retracement (The Road Map)
Fibonacci is used to find correction areas (pullbacks) within a trend. Traders typically monitor the "Golden Zone," which is the 0.5 (50%) to 0.618 (61.8%).
* Function: Determines where the price is most likely to rebound after taking a brief "break" from the main trend.
2. Engulfing Candle (The Trigger)
Engulfing is a two-candle pattern where the second candle has a much larger body and "engulfs" the entire body of the previous candle.
* Bullish Engulfing: Buy signal.
* Bearish Engulfing: Sell signal.
* Function: Confirms that buying or selling pressure is very strong at that level.
3. How to Combine It (Strategy)
This strategy works most effectively when the market is in a clear trend (not sideways).
* Determine the Trend: Determine whether the price is rising (uptrend) or falling (downtrend).
* Draw Fibonacci: Draw a line from the lowest point to the highest point (for an uptrend) or vice versa.
* Wait in the Golden Zone: Don't enter immediately. Wait for the price to touch the 0.5 or 0.618 level.
