- H represents today’s 1-day ratio of net advances to total issues traded.
A represents the number of advancing issues.
D represents the number of declining issues.
U represents the number of unchanged issues.
A+D+U represents the total number of issues traded each day.- The indicator should calculate H and A − D A + D + U , multiply them by 100, add 100 to both results, and then combine them to get the final oscillator value.
