Equity Guardian Strategy – MT5 Risk Overlay & Recovery EA

We need an experienced MQL5 developer to build the Equity Guardian Strategy — a risk management overlay EA designed to run alongside two existing Expert Advisors.

The Guardian monitors account equity and automatically switches to Recovery Mode when drawdown reaches a set threshold. While in Recovery Mode, the EA must block or ignore trading signals from the other two Expert Advisors. The system uses dynamic hedging with volatility-adaptive position sizing to recover from drawdowns in a controlled manner. The EA is intended primarily for XAUUSD.

Main Requirements:

• Dual mode operation: Normal Mode + Guardian/Recovery Mode
• Automatic activation of Recovery Mode based on account drawdown
• Dynamic hedging and lot sizing that adjusts according to market volatility
• Ability to detect and block signals/orders from other Expert Advisors while Guardian Mode is active
• Professional risk management with hard limits and safety mechanisms
• On-chart dashboard showing current mode, drawdown, recovery status, and key metrics
• Visual display of active recovery zones
• Proper position and basket management using magic numbers
• Clean logging system

Technical Requirements:

• Written in MQL5 for MetaTrader 5 (hedging account support required)
• Must be able to monitor and control trades opened by external Expert Advisors
• Well-structured and maintainable code
• Experience with complex recovery or hedging systems is highly preferred

Developer Requirements:

• Strong experience developing recovery, hedging, or risk overlay Expert Advisors in MQL5
• Previous experience working with systems that interact with or manage trades from other EAs
• Good understanding of position management, magic numbers, and trade handling in MQL5
• Portfolio examples of similar projects (recovery/hedging/risk management EAs) are required
