MT4 Developer - Mapping Market Structure with Smart Money Concepts (SMC)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced MetaTrader 4 (MT4) developer with a strong understanding of Smart Money Concepts (SMC) in trading. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing custom indicators and Expert Advisors, with the ability to translate advanced trading rules (Swing High/Low, BOS/CHoCH, Order Blocks, FVGs, Liquidity, Fibonacci zones, etc.) into reliable and efficient MT4 code.

Responsibilities

• Develop a custom MT4 indicator with modular coding structure.

• Implement Smart Money Concept features, including:

  • Swing High/Low detection

  • BOS/CHoCH identification

  • Order Blocks & Fair Value Gaps (FVGs)

  • Liquidity Pools (BSL/SSL)

  • Fibonacci retracement/extension levels

• Build a control panel to enable/disable functions on the chart.

• Store indicator outputs (e.g., last SH/SL values) in buffers for use in other modules.

• Ensure code is efficient, well-documented, and optimized for live trading.

• Provide the full source code upon project completion.

Requirements

• Proven experience in MQL4 programming (indicators and EAs).

• Strong knowledge of Smart Money Concepts and market structure.

• Ability to work with modular, scalable code.

• Experience with drawing objects (ZigZag lines, Fibonacci levels, zones) in MT4.

• Good communication skills and ability to follow detailed specifications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous projects involving SMC-based indicators or dashboards.

• Familiarity with both MT4 and MT5 development.

• Understanding of trading strategies using liquidity, order flow, and institutional concepts.
