Modification of EA

Hello,

I had an EA programmed awhile back, and finally had the chance to really go into some deep testing with it and I've noticed some issues. It doesn't seem to be entering trades when it is supposed to. Using the visual back test I've noticed valid entry signals that it did not take, and many of the entries that it is making doesn't look valid. It seems that the trailing stop is working fine, and hard to tell if the initial stop is correct. It's in MT4 language but the program is designed to use two different time frames (the 5m and the 1h) to trade off of, and MT4 I can only test with the 5m. So I'm also considering if a conversion is best as well? Looking for someone that can help me problem solve why the program isn't taking valid entry signals, and review the stops and position sizing to make sure those are working as well.
