Hello

I wish to create an EA that does the following:

Option for a 'Buy' or 'Sell' trade but only one trade at a time and NOT continually trading. For example, I must select if the EA is to enter 'Buy' or 'Sell' trades.

'Buy' trade criteria

  • Enter ‘Buy’ trade when price is above 'n' period SMA, based on close of previous bar AND if price is above 'n' period SMA on Daily or Weekly or Monthly chart
  • SL placed at low of 'n' period Donchian channel
  • Position size = % of closed equity (not available equity)
  • Exit when price is below 'n' period SMA, based on close of previous bar

'Sell' trade criteria

  • Enter ‘Sell’ trade when price is below 'n' period SMA, based on close of previous bar AND if price is below 'n' period SMA on Daily or Weekly or Monthly chart
  • SL placed at high of 'n' period Donchian channel
  • Position size = % of closed equity (not available equity)
  • Exit when price is above 'n' period SMA, based on close of previous bar

The entry has to be based on the price being above (or below) 2 SMAs, on different chart timescales. For example, the price could be above 'n' period SMA on    4 hr chart and must also be above 'n' period on the Daily chart.
