"linking" two input values in backtest

i have an EA that i want to optimize to trade for only four hours, within a nine hour period. the start and end times are different inputs. how would i go about increasing both values at the same time so as to reduce time backtesting

Can I close MT5 while my VPS is running?

that's all there is to it. I just want to know what all i have to do to keep my vps going or if i have to keep mt5 open and running as well
