Hello, dear investor!
My passion for the financial market began in 2018 when I heard about a cryptocurrency called Bitcoin that was generating huge profits!
At the time, my knowledge was quite basic, but my appetite for risk was enormous. I remember buying 0.5 Bitcoin for 500 BRL (approximately 136 USD) and making a 100% profit in less than a month! Of course, I was a "paper hands" and regret not holding the position longer. =(
On the other hand, I discovered the path to wealth: the financial market! I started researching more about it and I recall finding the Etoro brokerage, which still exists today. Back then, the design of their website and the information provided were quite user-friendly and intuitive, and they were pioneers in the copytrading market.
It was there that I had my first contact with the currency pairs market, which I later discovered was the Forex market! I sought out Forex courses on YouTube and from other market gurus, and eventually discovered the path of technical analysis. I studied this approach extensively but felt that the market had something more to offer!
I also discovered the order flow approach and currently trade USDBRL in the futures market at B3 (Brazilian Stock Exchange) based on this technique. In the U.S. market, I trade through the proprietary firm Apex Funding, using Ninja Trader to monitor the order flow on SuperDOM.
After gaining a lot of knowledge and screen time experience over these 6 years in the market, I realized that the market trends are driven by the global macroeconomic context. Monetary policy decisions, especially from the FED, inflation expectations, geopolitical conflict risks, the economic health of China, and other factors are key drivers.
Today, my trading strategy is based on macroeconomic context and asset price variations, using the averages and standard deviations of the last 30 days.
