Can't sign up as seller as telegram bot doesn't have a code for my number and text message never arrives

Hi all, Have followed the usual advice in this forum but nothing seems to work to receive the telegram bot message or the text to verify my number. I've checked I can receive international text messages. I've been going in loops for around 2 weeks. Is there a known issue with the verification
