started trading in 2009 after buying a book by mike jalland. like many I had a few weeks or months of brilliant success followed by a few bad trades and destroying the account. 11 years later Im finally producing proffits with a mix of manual and auto trading.

its just a little bit short of 29k today, I was around the same level 2 weeks ago but took some drastic action to reduce the quickly growing drawdown. GB was shooting up and looking like it was going to keep going, so I closed around 6k to make it more manageable. Its all recovered now and added a few hundred extra to the balance. Maybe we will hit 30k this week.
I seem to have well and truly overcome the "loss aversion" disease that is responsible for wiping many a trading account. Dont run and hide when the drawdown grows and hope it will all be ok. Thats when trading becomes gambling. Attack those bad trades, reduce and/or remove whatever is needed. 6K is the most ive ever lost in a day in my 11 year history, but 2 weeks later all recovered and then some, previously I could have quite easily been now saving up for another deposit to restart the account from zero.

just passed 16k. I remember I gave myself what I thought was a very optimistic target of 9k by mid march from the first year of robot trading.
the very sharp increase in the last few weeks is from a mix of the same robot but with manual assistance from me.
my second year loose target was 70k. If things continue as they are, I will hit that target by late summer.

Added topic problems trying to install a purchased EA
I am trying to instal an EA on mt4 on a vps server . i am logged into the account correctly but when i select the purchased tab in the market window nothing is loading, its just a blank window. I have left it for well over 20 mins in case its slow to
