MT4 on Linux - open email - causes a crash.   Is it possible to go to an ini file and close the email that keeps trying to restart mt4?  Is it possible to hold down a key when starting mt4 and thus open in safe mode? 

I still think that mt4 is lacking re: graphing of DrawDown. Does anyone know the best way to get backtesting data OR  live forward trading data into mysql? or into a spreadsheet directly?  I think that this ought to be the easiest way to

MT4 trade history will show 'profit' on the footer pane. But some brokers are charging commission rather than spread. As an improvement - MT4 ought to add a total for the commission column footer (when unhidden) that reflects 'profit-commission'

I can see 9 consecutive losses in backtesting - many times - yet the report says 2 consecutive losses. The model is using control points but that ought not affect things. What else is not reliable

i use proxy server setting such as "localhost:9332" with no username or password in build 401 it works fine, in build 409, the "test" button now tells me that it is not okay. i.e. i have 3 MT4 running, the two that upgraded to 409
