I have been trading since 2016, it took me two years to stop losing. Then I became a mild profitable trader, using low risk to allow me
to stay in the market long enough for me to learn.
On the 8th of July 2020, I realzed that the system that I trade would benefit more if I were to increase the risk a little more. However, in that same week, I began to experience a period of drawdown which resulted in a 20 % DD. Since then I realized something was missing from the approach and made the necessary adjustment.
This adjustment concluded in me continuing trading with the new level of risk. It is basically *1000/1= (pip value calculated taking whatever the balance is and divide it by 1.000).
WHAT ARE THE MAIN CONCEPTS OF MY STRATEGY?
A- 80-100 Pip winners
B- No martingale, no grid system, no adding adding to losing positions.
C - keep average winners greater than the losing trades.
D - Stop loss applicable to all trades
C- Aim higher returns than the industry standard but safely.
E- Targetting 100% return every 6 to 12 months.
F - Pip value is calcualated safely, by dividing account balance by 1000.
