Here is a useful tip to help you maximize profits during sideways markets, especially when the EA is already managing some open grid orders.
When the market goes sideways, a grid EA may need time to:
- balance existing positions
- wait for price to return into the profitable zone
During this period, the EA is working correctly, but it may not open many new cycles on the same chart because it is busy managing the current grid.
* How to increase profit safely:
You can run the EA on a second Gold chart to take advantage of new price movements:
1️⃣ Open another XAUUSD chart (M1)
2️⃣ Attach Gold 1 Minute Grid to the new chart
3️⃣ Change the Magic Number to a different value and select your Account Type.
4️⃣ Leave all other settings at default
That’s it.
* What happens internally:
Each chart + magic number is treated as a separate trading logic
The EA will:
- manage stuck or recovering orders on the first chart
- trade new grid cycles independently on the second chart
This allows you to generate additional profits while waiting for the original grid to complete its cycle
Important notes:
⚠️ Do not use more than 2 charts on small accounts
⚠️ Always use different magic numbers
⚠️ Do not close trades manually
