Risk Management of a Bot ⚙️📉
A strong and effective risk management system is key to protecting your trading bot from heavy losses 🚫. Without it, even the smartest algorithm can blow your account 💥. Here are some important techniques to follow:
Stop Loss ✋
Always set a stop-loss to limit potential losses. This acts as a safety net in case the market moves against your trade ❌. Without it, a bad trade can turn into a disaster.
Position Sizing 📏
Never risk too much on one trade. Use proper lot sizes based on your account balance. A good rule is to risk only 1-2% per trade 💰.
Leverage Control ⚠️
High leverage = high risk. Don’t let greed take over. Use moderate leverage to reduce the chance of margin calls 🧨.
Daily/Weekly Loss Limits ⏳
Set limits on how much your bot can lose per day or week. If it hits that limit, stop trading and review the strategy ✅.
By using smart risk controls, your bot can trade safely, survive bad days, and grow your account slowly but surely 📈.
