Trying to migrate an old script for the community.

I'm really new to mq programming and I'm currently trying to migrate the following script to mq5. https://www.mql5.com/es/code/17200 This is so far the progress I made and it looks working except when you change the chart period, then is when it crashes. Some guidance will be appreciated
