11-year trader. Gold quant. Self-developed EA.
Seven years manual trading, four years algorithmic—overlapping for two. Manual trading taught me one thing: most people lose not because they lack skill, but because they can't control themselves. Later I turned rules into code. That's what an EA does—execution.
Right now I focus on trend-following in gold. The core of my strategy isn't "how to make money"—it's "how to lose less when losing“. Sounds simple, but the hardest thing in trading is sticking to the simple things.
The articles I write, the EAs I build, the clients I copy trade for—they all say the same thing: Trading is not a game of high win rates. It's a game of managing risk.
